Messing about on the river

A rich, satisfying life is all about contrasts. After enjoying some hustle and bustle in the capital, Lord T is back amongst the flora and piscifauna. The oh-so-short sweet spot between spring’s end and high summer, where sunshine and light cool breeze achieve perfect equilibrium. To picnic and idle without getting cold, to bask and roam without perspiring half your body weight. Bliss.

 

The look? From top to toe: a light-as-a-feather straw fedora to thwart the midday sun, navy blue Merino wool zip-neck draped over a striped cotton Seersucker shirt, a pair of blue ‘jeanos’ for style and comfort, and some equally dapper yet comfy tan leather boat shoes.

 

The catch? The only thing he caught was a well-earned 40 winks…
