The lightweight summer trousers I’ve been looking for and finally found. Very light material and available in blue as well as stone. Easy to alter leg length by a local alterations shop. Comfort waistband helps those of us carrying a bit of timber, but the cut is still a tiny bit mean around the front leading to slightly awkwardly creased pockets. Easy to quick wash and dry for a freshen up in summer. Excellent - have now got three pairs.

The chinos finish was shiny, which to me makes them not chinos but trousers

Just what I wanted by being very light. High waist and therefore an excess of material, makes them a little uncomfortable when wearing a shirt outside

I wear these in a very hot climate (Morocco) as a smart/casual trouser is a cultural must! These are very lightweight & perfect for hot & humid environments. They're smarter & more durable than linen. Not to mention, they're superb value for money.
